About the channel

2RawForTheStreets was born in 1998. Big Star created a blueprint that would have an everlasting impact on the Philly hip-hop culture and beyond. The roster of 2RawFTS Alumni runs deep, the memories are classic, and the legacy will live forever. It’s crazy that it’s been 20+ years since the conception. This channel is dedicated to the movement and will tell the history of Big Star, The Camera, and the many lives that were touched during the journey. I would like to thank all the MC’s, producers, DJ’s, B-Boys, Graf Writers, graphic artists, radio DJ’s, mixtape stands, stores, and others involved. I especially want to thank the fans and supporters for helping the movement to grow to heights unimaginable prior to social media, YouTube, and smart phones. I look forward to taking this trip down memory lane, re-releasing the classics, unlocking never seen before archives, and connecting with some of my alumni.
