About the channel
AEGYPTICA is a series exploring ancient Egypt through its art, literature and philosophy. I come to ancient Egypt as a storyteller rather than an academic. More than 20 years as a full-time journalist have taught me how to find the story others are missing. For the past few years I've been diving deep into stories of a different kind, with a focus on the great thinkers of ancient Egypt. What I've found are compelling, and surprisingly poignant, answers to many of the big questions that still grip us today. One thing is clear to me, above all else: There is still so much left to uncover from ancient Egypt. I hope you'll join me for this new exploration into ancient ideas.
