About the channel

Join other innovators, startups, corporations, financial service providers, tech companies, investors, and regulators as they share knowledge, zoom in on the trends, and opportunities informing the direction of fintech in Africa at the Africa Fintech Summit. Since 2018, twice a year, we’ve brought together innovators from different financial and technology verticals to engage in thoughtfully designed community-oriented experiences. Each April, AFTS is a headlining sideline event at the Spring Meetings of The World Bank/IFC. And in November, another edition holds in a selected African country. Africa Fintech Summit is a unique space where ideas are explored, investments mobilized, and collaborations are formed. Africa Fintech Summit is more than a conference—it’s an ecosystem-building initiative, with workshops, demos, pitch competitions, ecosystem tours, whitepapers, awards, and opportunities to collaborate with the investors and entrepreneurs shaping the future of African fintech.
