About the channel
Artificial intelligence systems do not verify information in the way humans do. They infer authority based on signals such as provenance, consistency, recency, and structure. This channel explains how AI systems retrieve, interpret, and attribute information, and why errors such as misattribution, outdated responses, and loss of source identity occur. While Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) improves access to relevant data, it does not determine authority or meaning. When signals are unclear, AI systems must infer relationships between sources, time, and context. These videos demonstrate why authority in AI systems is inferred, not verified, and introduce AI Citation Registries as a structured, machine-readable approach to improving attribution.
