Alejandro Gómez Yepes

About the channel

Alejandro Gómez Yepes is a research fellow working with the Applied Power Electronics Technology Research Group (APET) at CINTECX, University of Vigo. His research interests mainly include digital control of power electronics converters, with special focus, currently, on multiphase ac machine drives. He has authored more than 100 scientific publications in the field of power electronics. Out of them, more than 60 are published in JCR-indexed journals. His publications have received over 6000 citations and he is included in the list of top 2% scientists selected by Stanford University and Elsevier according to citation data. He is a member of the IEEE, the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society and the IEEE Power Electronics Society. He currently serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. Industrial Electronics and IET Electric Power Applications. He has participated in 8 competitive R&D projects funded by public entities and in 5 projects with funding from private companies.
