About the channel

I grew up Chinese-Vietnamese American in Syracuse, New York. My mother left when I was 3 months old. My father was verbally, mentally, and physically abusive. There was no food in the refrigerator so I started working at 13. I fought every year in school. I survived by going numb and moving fast. I spent decades managing that pain. I went looking for answers. I found my mother at 37. Therapy. Ayahuasca. Mushrooms. 5-MeO-DMT. I forgave my father. I rebuilt myself from scratch. I now live life on my own terms in the Bay Area. This channel is the record of that process. No performance. No polish. Just one man telling the truth about what it costs to survive a hard life and what it takes to actually live after it. I am not a guru. I am proof that it is possible. You are not alone. If you grew up without a parent, fought your way through childhood, or carry weight you never asked for, you are in the right place.
