There's no better parent than A Parent Like You. A Parent Like You was born from Claire Cassidy's personal experience as a mom and clinical experience as a licensed therapist. "When my daughter was born in 2023, I just wanted to be a good parent. I'd often find myself in Google spirals at 2am, worrying about the best way to feed, bathe, or burp my child, worried I would get it wrong. What I needed most during this time was a toolkit that would strengthen my self-confidence as a mom and teach me how to make decisions that felt right to me and aligned with my values. I didn't want the answers that worked for anyone else's family; I wanted someone to teach me to find my own. I couldn't find that toolkit, so I made one." Parenting is hard, but knowing what matters most to you makes it easier. APLY's mission is to equip parents with the skills to find out.
