The Home of the Melocchi Method Welcome to the Arturo Melocchi Academy — a channel dedicated to the traditional Italian operatic method that shaped legendary dramatic voices such as Del Monaco, Corelli, and many others. If you are a serious singer, conservatory student, or professional struggling with passaggio, covering, resonance, vocal stability, or the development of true operatic ring, this channel is for you. My training comes through a direct pedagogical lineage: from Arturo Melocchi to Mario and Marcello Del Monaco, to my teacher — who studied personally with both brothers — and then to me. Here you will find rare historical footage, technical lessons, exercises, and in-depth discussions that preserve the principles of old-school Italian singing while helping today’s singers build a stronger, freer, and more resonant voice.
