About the channel

Hi, we’re Isla and Ryan, parents of three and six years into parenting. This channel is for the thoughts many parents have but rarely say out loud: guilt, overwhelm, resentment, fear, doubt, and intrusive thoughts that can appear even when your children are the most important part of your world. For years, we kept those thoughts to ourselves because we were scared people would misunderstand us or judge us as bad parents. But DIFFICULT THOUGHTS DO NOT MEAN YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN ANY LESS. They mean you are human. 🔅 Parental guilt and difficult thoughts 🔅 Emotions mums and dads often hide 🔅 Intrusive thoughts, burnout, and overwhelm ❤️ Reassurance, perspective, and self-compassion Parenting is not always beautiful. Sometimes it is messy, exhausting, and full of emotions you never expected. This is a safe place to understand those feelings without shame. We want you to feel understood and less alone.
