Josie Rose never imagined that building herself a tiny home would completely change the course of her life. Like many people of her generation, home ownership felt increasingly out of reach. So, with no previous building experience, the professional dancer decided to build herself one instead - and hasn’t really looked back since. Raised by a single mum, dyslexic & vegan, - Josie’s films explore cosy tiny homes, wild & remote landscapes and the freedom that comes from questioning the stories we’re told about what makes a good life. She feels incredibly fortunate to spend her life travelling, and is constantly reminded that it’s a privilege rather than an achievement. The more she sees of the world, the less convinced she becomes that there’s a single definition of success - or a single right way to live.
