I make Undertale remixes. FAQ: Q: Can I use your song for (insert reason here)? A: You can use any and all of my songs so long as credit is clearly given to me (not barely shoved at the very bottom of the description, for instance). You do NOT have to ask for permission, but I would prefer it if you'd let me know so I can see what you make with it. Q: Will you ever post your songs to Spotify? A: Unless the whole system changes, no. Right now, I'd have to get in contact with a distributor to post stuff to Spotify. Not only does that usually mean I have to pay them, but I would also be put into the copyright system. Even ignoring the fact that most of my songs are covers and I probably wouldn't be allowed to post them (all the covers you see on Spotify have been approved), I don't want to be in the copyright system. I want anything I make to be free for all to use, and signing my song's rights over to a distributor kinda defeats that goal.
