A First Ballot Hall of Famer as part of the 2025 class, CC is one of the most durable and dominant left-handed pitchers the game has ever seen. As the 20th selection in the 1998 MLB Draft, he played 19 seasons for the New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, and Milwaukee Brewers. A 6x All-Star, ALCS MVP, AL Cy Young Award winner, Black Ace, and one of only three left-handed pitchers with 3000+ strikeouts. Sabathia led the MLB in wins with the New York Yankees in both 2009 and 2010 and became a World Series champion in 2009. He finished his career with an overall record of 251-161, a 3.74 ERA, and 3,093 strikeouts. Sabathia and his wife Amber co-founded the PitCCh In Foundation in 2008 to enrich the lives of inner city youth. Since retiring, Sabathia has remained close to the sport as VP of the Player’s Alliance, Special Assistant to the MLB Commissioner, and as an analyst for the MLB Networks’ Clubhouse Edition broadcasts, MLB on Netflix, and Sunday Night Baseball on NBC.
