About the channel

Welcome to The Creative Ponderer. This channel is a long-form experiment in creativity, discipline, craftsmanship, and self-development. I’m an artist, plasterer, musician, poet, author, memory enthusiast, and lifelong learner documenting the process of building skills, creating meaningful work, and becoming a better version of myself. My thinking is heavily inspired by the philosophy behind my book, Paint Like a Plasterer: the idea that growth is built layer by layer through patience, repetition, effort, and valuing the process as much as the outcome. Expect painting, music, piano, writing, memory training, Pi challenges, fitness, philosophy, and honest documentation of progress and setbacks. This channel isn’t about pretending to have life mastered. It’s about learning in public, embracing the process, and discovering what can happen when curiosity and consistency compound over time. “The struggle is guaranteed. Results are not.” And the process itself becomes the reward.
