About the channel
The Cultural Research Centre is an interdisciplinary research incubator based in the Department of Communications and New Media at the National University of Singapore. The Centre focuses on cultural research. Its team of world-class researchers conduct scholarship and develop grants across a wide cross-section of areas. These include: - contemporary art and the cultural public sphere - migration and mobility - new media and social connection - transnational citizenship - urbanism and cultural planning. Our research environment forges partnerships, develops the capabilities of our staff and stakeholders, and engages diverse publics.
