About the channel
You already know English. You just don't trust yourself when you use it. Hi, I'm Teacher Li — and I help Filipinos speak English with confidence. Not by drilling grammar. Not by memorizing vocabulary lists. But by understanding the real reason you shrink, over-apologize, and second-guess yourself every time you speak English at work or with foreigners. Because the problem was never your English. It was what you were taught to believe about yourself. Every week I post: ✦ English Cringe Check — common Filipino English habits that quietly signal low confidence (and the upgrade) ✦ Filipino English Explained — the psychology and culture behind how Filipinos speak English ✦ Real-life English — exactly what to say in work situations, client calls, and professional settings Subscribe if you're a Filipino woman (or man) who is done feeling small when you speak English. 📍 Based in the Philippines | GMT+8 🎓 For Filipinos and Southeast Asians worldwide
