The DesignLights Consortium (DLC) is an organization of Efficiency Forward, Inc. As an independent non-profit organization, the DLC provides decision makers with data and resources on quality lighting, controls, and integrated building systems to reduce energy, carbon, and light pollution. We envision a net zero future where lighting, controls, and integrated building systems enable energy savings, decarbonization, and sustainability for all people and the environment. We collaborate with utilities, energy efficiency programs, manufacturers, lighting designers, building owners, and government entities to create rigorous criteria for lighting performance that keeps up with the pace of technology. Together, we’re creating solutions for a better future with better lighting.
