Welcome to the official YouTube channel of Dias Karimov, classical and jazz concert pianist, arranger, teacher and music blogger. Born in Ufa, Russia, he comes from a professional musical family. His father, composer and pianist Airat Karimov, was his main teacher, laying the foundation in classical music and improvisation. He holds a diploma as a classical concert pianist from Russia and completed postgraduate piano studies. He earned a diploma in jazz piano in Germany at the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar, studying with Prof. Leonid Chizhik and David Gazarov. Prizewinner in competitions and festivals in Bulgaria, the USA, France, Turkey, Russia and Germany. Founder of the online school Virtual Piano and author of many arrangements in various styles and levels.
