About the channel
No waffling, no widdling, no blues-rock grimacing. No edits, no backing tracks, no uncritical gushing. Dickie's 90-Second Pedal Demos are quick, simple, irreverent but high-quality introductions to great pedals – both acclaimed classics and underrated gems – and how to get the best out of them. I'm an experienced guitar player and journalist who writes reviews professionally for guitar.com, and I'm doing this for fun. The plan is to upload a new video every couple of weeks or so until I run out of pedals or get mauled to death by my cat, whichever comes first.
