Born in Bulgaria to parents of Turkish origin, she blends Eastern mysticism with modern sound. The heartbeat of her sound is found in traditional instruments like the tapan (Balkan bass drum), kaval, tambura, and darbuka. With percussion often taking up the most space in her sets. Her artistic journey began outside the music scene. After moving to Sofia to study Photography, she was drawn to the connection between sound and visual expression. (All visual content on this channel is created by her through photograph) Beginning her musical path in 2020 with jazz, funk, and trip-hop, her exploration gradually led her back to her roots. On this channel, there are no rules. EMIGDALA follows her feelings, not genres. Each set has a different theme. From a full psytrance journey to jazz or classical music. Enjoy the magic!
