About the channel

There are nearly eight billion people on this planet; half of those are WOMEN who will, one day, menstruate. That personal experience will range from magical to terrifying, joyful to painful, embarrassing, or even hilarious. And this life-changing event radiates to the people in their lives; mothers, siblings, spouses, fathers. So, in effect, a girl getting her period affects everyone. My film "Period." is semi-autobiographical; the heart of the story conveys a glimpse of what it means to move into womanhood and how, with a little SUPPORT, LOVE, and LAUGHTER that event brings with it the beginning of a CONVERSATION. This channel is devoted to shifting the stigma of menstruation from something mysterious, scary, or shameful to FREAKIN' CELEBRATORY!
