About the channel

Welcome to my channel, “Ed Beaulieu The Pond Professor.” My career with water features began in 1993 when my wife urged me to apply for a construction laborer position at Aquascape Inc. I now serve as vice president of field research and contractor development at Aquascape. For more than two decades, I’ve been honored to build thousands of custom ponds from small backyard water gardens to large lakes and commercial water features. I’ve also loved designing and engineering many of the legacy Aquascape products. Friends refer to me as “The Pond Professor” because I love to talk about the science behind ponds, waterfalls, and the environment. I love breaking down the science behind the creation of water features in an entertaining and easy-to-understand manner.
