I’m Emily — a multi-passionate creative, musical theatre performer, and upcycled fashion artist behind Emily Made It. I turn thrifted and vintage textiles into cozy, one-of-a-kind pieces that tell a story. My mission is to make people feel safe, seen, and softly held through handmade design, slow fashion, and creativity. After years performing in musical theatre (including my Off-Broadway debut in Lewberger and the Wizard of Friendship), I needed something that was mine — something I could make with my hands. Sewing and thrifting brought me back to myself, and soon, Emily Made It was born. Here, I share my love of upcycled fashion, DIY clothing, and the creative journey of building a handmade life.
