About the channel
En Kör is a vocal ensemble with 12 singers based in Stockholm. The choir started as a project during the autumn of 2016 with the aim to sing complex choral music in a small ensemble and to engage all singers in the entire musical process. We love to challenge ourselves and always search for experiences. Our vision is to create music at a high level and share that with a wide audience. Through our performance, we want to make choral music more accessible so that both people new to choral music and more experienced listeners can understand and appreciate the nuances in it. The entire group participate in the musical process. The final version of a piece is worked out together during rehearsals. The choir performs 2-4 concerts per year. Apart from that we also like to make recordings, sing at events and travel together. In 2019 we participated in the choir competition Adriatic Pearl in Dubrovnik, Croatia and won the categories "B1 - Mixed choirs" and "S - Musica Sacra".
