Ewan Dobson is a Canadian guitarist, composer, and arranger whose work spans classical guitar, progressive fingerstyle, acoustic metal, flatpicking, and original instrumental music. With 20+ albums, worldwide touring, and a catalog that accumulated over 85 million YouTube views across the early internet ecosystem before being consolidated under his official channel, Dobson is one of the original viral musicians of the YouTube era. His composition “Time 2” became a landmark early YouTube hit, reaching #1 on iTunes charts in Finland, Sweden, and Germany. He has collaborated with Marty Friedman on Inferno and Wall of Sound, and his complete works (2004–2025) were preserved by the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick.
