I’m a husband and father of five who loves to cook. Most nights I’m cooking from a small kitchen in Houston, a long way from my wife and kids back home in Seattle. So I test recipes on myself and imagine how I’d scale them up for a table full of hungry people. I’m not a trained chef. I learned to cook standing beside my Grandma while she made meals for family and friends. No fancy training — just time in the kitchen, a lot of meals, and a few lessons learned the hard way. These days, this channel is my way of staying connected — to my family, to the meals I grew up with, and to the idea that good food brings family and friends together. You won’t find trendy edits here. Just real cooking in a real kitchen. Classic comfort dishes. Some passed down, some improvised, all made from scratch. At the end of every video, you’ll hear a bell and “Order Up.” That’s how I used to call my kids to the table when they were little. Pull up a stool. There’s always room at my counter.
