Fire Safety Research Institute

About the channel

UL Research Institutes' Fire Safety Research Institute advances fire safety knowledge to address the world’s unresolved fire safety risks and emerging dangers. Through advanced fire science, rigorous research, extensive outreach and education in collaboration with our international network of partners, we impart stakeholders with the information, tools and resources that enable them to make better, more fire-safe decisions that ultimately save lives and property. At UL Research Institutes, a world-leading independent safety science institution, through objective investigation, we sense emerging risks and work to keep people safer at home, at work, and in the world. As our research evolves to meet new global challenges, we are examining new risks presented by artificial intelligence, renewable energy systems, environmental toxicology, and wildfires.
