About the channel
Born in Florence in 1971, I began studying the piano at 8, soon gravitating toward Baroque music. I studied harpsichord, organ, and counterpoint at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole—my “alma mater”—where I embraced historically informed performance practice. After a first-class degree in Theoretical Philosophy, I obtained an Academic Diploma in Harpsichord with top marks at the Ferrara Conservatoire under M. Scaioli and F. Tasini. I refined my musicianship with L.F. Tagliavini, B. van Asperen, P. Hantaï, C. Rousset, and S. Sempé, and in Baroque ensemble performance with Alan Curtis and F.M. Sardelli. In 2017, I won a First Prize at the “Wanda Landowska” International Harpsichord Competition. In 2022, I debuted on Brilliant Classics with “Richard Jones: 6 Harpsichord Suites” (96311). On this channel, I share my journey through the repertoire and the expressive possibilities of early keyboard instruments.
