About the channel

A former sportscaster and part of CNN's first broadcasting team, Bob Kurtz began his pursuit of world records while the pastor at St. John's Evangelical Protestant Church in Cullman, AL His record-holding endeavors were for the best of reasons -- to benefit neglected children and other worthwhile charities. He formed Ministries to Children as a 501c3 organization to raise money for single moms and their vulnerable children, and he continues to spread the message of the need for everyone to join in the battle against child abuse and neglect. Bob Kurtz raised over $10,000 for homeless families last Mothers Day weekend by hitting 1,000 drives in one day on the range at Ancala Country Club. The previous event was the inspiration for “Both Sides Now” benefit this year.
