About the channel

HeidelBÄR Games was founded in 2017 to add the know-how, passion and creativity of Heidelberger Spieleverlag's team onto the international gaming stage. With many years of experience in publishing board and card games, it is our goal to create smart, hilarious, and accessible games. Initially HeidelBÄR Games aka Heidelberger Spieleverlag had become part of the Asmodee group. But as it is, a bear walks even better independently - and after 30 years of its initial foundation as Heidelberger Spieleverlag - HeidelBÄR Games GmbH (also owner of the Heidelberger Spieleverlag brand) became once more an independent publisher. We work with many international partners as Horrible Guild and Czech Games Edition, and as a German publisher, our games are distributed in Central Europe by a company with our older name: Heidelberger Spieleverlag.
