About the channel

I especially upload symphonies of Romantical composers. The music comes from records which I have digitalized myself. Therefore, the sound quality might be weak in some places, but it is not my purpose to make this perfectly. I use the tools I have: a simple turntable, lots of records, a computer :-), and a program to remove the most disturbing background noises, but not all. If the remaining sounds disturb you, you should buy CD's where all background noise, together with a lot of echos and timbres from the instruments themselves, has been removed. Music yet uploaded: -All Brahms symphonies conducted by Furtwängler -Bruckner: Symphonies 1,2,5,7,8,9 and the "Te Deum laudamus" -Mahler: Symphonies 3, 5 and 6 and 'Das Lied von der Erde' - Grieg: "Peer Gynt" suites 1 and 2 - Schubert: "Unfinished" symphony - Tchaikovsky: Symphony 6 - Smetana: 'Má Vlast' - Beethoven: Symphony no. 1,7,8 - Debussy: 'La Mer' -Wagner ouvertures: ::::'Tannhäuser' act 1, ::::'Die Walküre' Walkürenritt ::::'Die Meistersinger' act 1,3 ::::'Lohengrin' act 1,3 ::::'Tristan und Isolde' act 2,3 Planning to upload: - All other Bruckner symphonies - Tchaikovsky: Symphony 5 - Schubert: Symphonies 5 and 9 - Sibelius: 'Tapiola' - Dvorák: Symphonies 8, 9 -Some other orchestral works of Wagner. I don't know which ones, but in each case the 'Fliegende Holländer' ouverture to act 1 and the 'Parsifal' ouverture. - Shostakovich: Symphonies 1-4, 11 and perhaps 14 - R. Strauss: 'Also sprach Zarathustra', 'Ein Heldenleben', 'Don Quixote', 'Till Eulenspiegel', 'Don Juan' and perhaps 'Tod und Verklärung' - Grieg: Sigurd Jorsalfar -All other Beethoven symphonies. - Mahler: Symphony 1 and perhaps Symhony no.4 - Mendelssohn: 'Italian' Symphony - Some more works with orchestra of Brahms. But I don't know when this will be complete. It could take quite a time! Digitalizing records takes a lot of time, and converting the sound to video takes even more time....
