About the channel

ICWaR was established with a mission to address complex water-related challenges that carry profound scientific and societal implications. The Centre is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research and developing innovative tools and methodologies to tackle pressing water issues, including climate change impacts, water demand management, water quality enhancement, extreme hydrological events (floods and droughts), and salinity intrusion in coastal aquifers. We aim to bridge the gap between scientific advancements and real-world solutions, ensuring sustainable water management practices for the future. One of the Centre’s flagship initiatives is the ICWaR Seminar Series, which serves as a platform for knowledge exchange by hosting eminent scientists, researchers, and policymakers worldwide.
