About the channel

This channel features videos and tutorials that assist, inform, and educate Illinois Taxpayers. Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) is the state’s tax collection agency. IDOR oversees 76 different taxes and processes more than 17 million tax returns a year. IDOR Collects 81.4% of the General Revenue Fund. Our staff of 1,454 include a wide variety of professions such as Lawyers, CPAs, Analysts, Programmers, Auditors, Tax Specialists and Special Agents. Our main headquarters is located in Springfield; however, we also have public offices in Chicago, Des Plaines, Marion and Fairview Heights. Our goal is to create videos that will help the taxpayers understand the taxes they are paying and how they need to file those taxes.
