About the channel

Sophisticated, modern jazz guitar... using triads. I studied and played with John Scofield, Peter Bernstein, Kurt Rosenwinkel, and other living legends. Taught alongside them in the jazz studies departments at Fordham and New York University. Diagnosed with a mysterious brain disease that almost ended me. Miraculously survived... but lost the ability to play. I developed the Melodic Triads System - based on the wisdom, priorities, and practices of my mentors - to relearn in a more direct path than the traditional approach gave me the first time around. Now I share that system online for other musicians who want to join me.
