Welcome to our channel! Judit Polgar's Global Chess Festival is an annual event on the 2nd Saturday of October organized by Grandmaster Judit Polgar and the Judit Polgar Chess Foundation. It promotes the 1000 faces of chess all around​ the world. We aim to share the beauty of chess with 5 million people by 2025, to connect and enjoy chess-related activities on the day of the festival. CHESS CONNECTS US Chess can be a sport, ex­perience, educational method, special connecti­on or the common langua­ge. Therefore we believe that different generations may find something in common in chess. All day entertaining programs await visitors at the Global Chess Festival every year, including professional chess tournaments, simultaneous chess games, art shows, educational conferences and various entertaining programs for all ages. The Global Chess Festival has become a prestigious event in the past ten years - offering a full-day family experience built around the mystical board game.
