About the channel

A personal vlog of what it is like living and working on Lighthouses around the UK and the Channel Islands. Lighthouses may not be manned anymore but they still require a lot of maintenance. Hello, I’m Scott. I am a Lighthouse maintenance engineer that works for Trinity House who are the General Lighthouse Authority for England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar. In my videos I aim to inspire, educate and entertain. To give people an insight into a very niche job that will hopefully inspire others to get into a similar line of work. Please note: All views and opinions are completely my own. My opinions and actions have no reflection on the organisation that I work for.
