Born and raised in the Green Mountain State of Vermont in the 1950s, served my country for six years and was a Vietnam Vet, I served my state for many years as a Deputy Sheriff, now retired and in my 70's I enjoy photography as a hobby my photo's as posted on Twitter mostly Vermont landscape The Vermont Green Mountains are a beloved and cherished natural feature of the state. There are many reasons why people love the Green Mountains: Scenic Beauty: The Green Mountains offer breathtaking vistas, especially during the fall when the foliage transforms into vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow. The rolling hills, dense forests, and picturesque landscapes make it a photographer's dream.
