About the channel
Hi there everyone 😊 ..... I’d like to share with all who may be interested, a selection of tunes from any jazz events I enjoy. (and am allowed to record!) Most will be from the Southampton Modern Jazz Club (SMJC), which is my regular haunt. It's an amazing, intimate venue where you will find an exceptional variety of terrifically talented, exciting musicians from far and wide. These events are (and have been for many years) organised tirelessly by Ted Carrasco (a great drummer himself !!), and he is greatly appreciated for all the hard work he puts into this. (Hopefully there will be a new venue announced soon 🤞🤞) come check it out if you're in the area. The performances and entry are FREE, but DONATIONS are requested to support the musicians.
