About the channel

Hi guys, I’m Matt Hetherington a professional table tennis coach with an ITTF Level 3 Coaching Certification, the highest official qualification. I competed in 3 World Table Tennis Championships, but grew up with a humbling career learning to play without a coach or many opportunities to practice. I want to help those who may not have access to coaches, and also to help others navigate challenges faster than I could - while avoiding mistakes I made in my own playing career. Join me here for many basic skills and more complex tutorials, for newcomers who want to learn table tennis, to competitive spirits wanting to upgrade from recreational ping pong, all the way to competitive players fighting for national team spots.
