About the channel
Morning Coffee Vinyl Side documents the vinyl albums we play with our morning coffee. Its unique features are that each write-up is written in real time with morning coffee, and posted immediately to one of our Instagram accounts. It’s an exercise in speed writing – capturing first impressions of often arbitrarily selected vinyl albums during a unique time of the day. In the initial concept, morning coffee vinyl side was meant to be exactly what is says – a vinyl album side played while drinking morning coffee. But we found that if we permitted the indulgence, we could find the time to play a full album instead of just a side. “A side” became a side order – coffee with vinyl.
