About the channel

This channel restores and preserves early 20th-century shellac records now in the public domain. Each recording is manually cleaned, digitized, and digitally restored, including manual noise removal in the audio spectrogram. I research historical context, transcribe lyrics that exist nowhere else online, translate them to English, and pair each track with researched historical footage. Every video represents hours of individual restoration and research work, not a simple upload of existing material. All content, including imagery and recordings, is presented as historical testimony to provide context and promote civic and cultural understanding. Nothing published here carries any political intention or agenda. Extremist ideologies of any kind are explicitly and unequivocally rejected.
