About the channel
I directed my debut feature film, Summer of Violence, which premiered at the American Black Film Festival and won Best Picture at DTLA Film Festival, as a single mom in LA with no studio behind me. Now I break down films the way I make them - one shot and one dollar at a time. This channel is for filmmakers who want to understand the craft from someone who's living it. Subscribe for weekly director commentary films, scripts, and more.
