About the channel

Operated by the OpenFog Consortium, this channel presents the what, how and why of fog computing, the necessary architecture for IoT, 5G and embedded AI applications. OpenFog is a public-private ecosystem formed to accelerate the adoption of fog computing in order to solve the bandwidth, latency and communications challenges associated with IoT. Our work is centered around creating a framework for efficient and reliable networks and intelligent endpoints combined with identifiable, secure, and privacy-friendly information flows between clouds, endpoints, and services based on open standard technologies. The video's on these pages represent work being done in the industry, by our member organizations and by OpenFog, to enable and accelerate innovation powered by fog computing technologies.
