Welcome to the official YouTube Channel for Orange Animal! The Band: John Ramsey (Guitar and vocals) Bill Derivan (Bass guitar and synthesizer) Adam Thurman (Drums) ⸻ Our History Orange Animal formed in 2017 and began performing original music in Cleveland. Their debut album, Gave It All Away (2018), led to more shows in Columbus and Chicago. In 2019, they released No Song Sick Hearts, earning recognition as Cleveland Scene’s “Band of the Week,” a feature on WKSU’s Shuffle, and airplay on 91.3 The Summit. From 2020–2022, the band continued writing and releasing music, with shows in Los Angeles at the Viper Room and El Cid, alongside regional touring through Ohio. After a brief pause, 2024 saw the release of Still Frames, with “Hammer in My Hands” featured by Rolling Stone en Español. In 2025, their single “Sweet Heartache” gained national radio traction. They later recorded a five-song EP at Suma Recording Studio, set for release beginning Spring 2026.
