Hello! I'm Orla, and I'm learning to build a creative life, one sketchbook at a time. I share my sketching and painting adventures, where I practice noticing everyday moments that hold a wee bit of magic. You'll find me sketching everywhere from bustling city parks, to capturing the wild light and weather over the North Atlantic. I believe that art can help us notice and care about the world around us, and I hope these videos help give you permission to slow down, pick up a sketchbook, and bring a little bit of that everyday magic in the world to you too. To help me do this, I run my Art Club, The Outdoor Sketchbook Collective on Patreon! This is a gentle community space for creative play, connecting to nature, experimenting and making art with likeminded people.
