We are Ben and Kelly (Burd). We live a fun and vibrant life aboard our boat, an old Princess 415, currently in Portishead Marina, AKA PortisMed! Join us as we navigate the tides of life and show you that an ordinary(ish) working couple can escape the ordinary lifestyle, and embrace this less conventional way of living, and working on a boat, with a vibrant and friendly community around us. Follow our journey bringing this old 1990's boat up to date and then changing our location! We have recently launched our online Nautical themed shop, ourboatyverse.com where you will find an array of clothing and gifts for Boating enthusiasts alike, all designed from our boating experiences and lifestyle. We hope we can inspire you to embark on your own Boaty journey of freedom and fun afloat! Boat Life is the Best Life!
