About the channel

Hi, I’m Paul...Things fell apart a bit… After years in the big city running my own company and a short spell working off-camera in film and TV. The industry rapidly started to shrink. Work dried up, and I couldn’t see a clear way forward. I figured… I’D RATHER BACK MYSELF THAN SIT STILL. Wahla… Paul vs House. I moved back to my hometown and decided to go ‘all in’ on property development. I had just enough savings from selling my place, and I’ve always enjoyed DIY. Inspired by shows like 'Homes Under The Hammer' (I know it makes it look easy!) and brave YouTubers documenting their attempts, I thought I’d give it a go. This channel is me learning, sharing the real numbers, mistakes, tools and results along the way. 🇮🇹 The Italian Dream 🇮🇹 The aim is to build enough skills and capital… to eventually renovate an epic place with land and views in Italy.
