Retro gaming doesn't have to be elitist, it doesn't have to be about the haves or have-nots, it doesn't have to be about having rare and expensive items, it doesn't have to be about completing a collection, or having thousands of games. It's easy to lose sight of what makes this hobby special, it was never about the monetary value, it wasn't about having shelves full of games, it might not even be about the games themselves. It's the memories. Come and join me on my YouTube journey, as I reminisce over the good times, remembering what gaming was all about, childhood friends and memories, when summers were long, and life was simple. I'm just an ageing gamer, musing on the past, remembering these glorious old gaming machines, and maybe, for a brief moment, forgetting all the madness, forgetting all our commitments, and remember how it was, even for just a fleeting moment.
