About the channel

We left city life and moved to rural central Portugal to restore a centuries-old stone barn and build an independent off-grid homestead. Portugal It Is documents real off grid living, rural life and village life in Portugal, covering homesteading, sustainable living, property restoration, land management, agriculture, food production, traditional skills and practical self-sufficiency. We also test agricultural machinery, robotic equipment, solar power systems, batteries, tools and outdoor technology in demanding real-world conditions, showing how equipment performs in genuine rural environments.
