"Welcome to [Ray's Chess Corner]. I am a co-founder of Ngaka Modiri Molema Chess Association (NMMCA) in Mafikeng North West. It's also go-to chess for beginners. Whether you're just learning the rules or looking to sharpen your strategy, I break down chess concepts into simple, easy-to-follow tutorials. From basic moves to opening principles, tactics, and game-winning strategies, we’ve got you covered. I have been associated with the North-West University's Mafikeng Campus Chess Club, where I achieved significant success. In 2018, I won the main section of the provincial tournament. In recognition of my contributions to chess, the Ngaka Modiri Molema Chess Association has organized annual tournaments named "Ray Laureles Open Chess Tournament (RLOCT)."
