Not the most technical musician yet the one you can undoubtedly recognise all at once. A terrific offbeat drummer with subtle fills and fat-tom sounds that made the Beatles’ tunes so unique. The thing is the Beatles would have never become the Beatles without our Ringo. He was the backbone of the Beatles’ driving rhythm. As Paul Mccartney stated : “You see all of these bands, when they’re playing, they’re looking around at the drummer like “Is he gonna speed-up? Is he gonna slowdown? – you don’t have to look with Ringo! He just is there!” Featuring live sessions, covers and Ringo-inspired tunes, this channel is dedicated to the King of Cool – Mr Ringo Starr.
